Recently we celebrated small business week in our great city of Mobile, Ala. Being a small business ourselves, we understand the tasks associated with operating and maintaining business, sometimes competing with the bigger guys. The Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce is focusing in on small businesses and how they represent the backbone of our business community. Not surprisingly, they aren’t the only ones to recognize this fact.
Recently, Facebook created a division dedicated strictly to serving and helping with the advertising needs of small businesses. As of now, there are nearly 25 million small businesses operating Facebook pages, reaching an average of 645 million users per week.
Facebook is launching Facebook Fit, “bootcamp for small businesses”. In addition to educating them on Facebook advertising best practices, they will also provide direction on how to use Intuit, LegalZoom, and Square.
